96 Paper Submission Deadline Extended!

Dear ICONIP-2000 Committee members:



Thanks for your kind efforts on the ICONIP-2000 at Taejon, Korea.

With you efforts we believe we will have an exciting conference

on this coming November.



Last month we hired a professional convention management

company, JenniCom, to work for the ICONIP-2000 as the Secretariat.

Therefore, from now on you will hear a lot from Ms. Jenni Kim, the

President of JenniCom. However, the Secretariat will still use the

same e-mail address as before.



During this transition period we found some problems on the

paper submission program on the web. We also found that

the Latex style file does not match with the written description

of the paper format. With the transition of Secretariat we were

not able to fix the problems in due time and the paper submission

deadline comes to next Monday.  Therefore, we decided to

extend the deadlines. I sincerely appologize for the inconvenience

it may cause to you.



New deadlines are:



June 15, 2000       paper submission

July 31, 2000        acceptance letters

August 31, 2000   camera-ready manuscripts and early registration



Sorry for the trouble. I hope it will not distract your interests

on the ICONIP-2000. We will have better papers and services.

I understand that the Program Committee are now in the process

of contacting invited speakers, and many good special sessions and

tutorials are under preparastion. Meanwhile please announce the

extended paper submission deadline to your colleagues.
