(English Abstract)
Visibility is one of the important weather conditions which can be dangerous when it is very low, such as driving on highways and taking off/landing plans on airports. Therefore, it¡¯s mandatory to detect the visibility distance and there should be a proper response system based on the level of visibility distance. So, to solve this, in this paper we show a methodology which is based on the Landmarks (salient features) in the CCTV image. We first draw some landmarks in the image and then extract some information from those landmarks such as edges, color information, and brightness etc. After the extraction of the information we analyze this information using machine learning algorithm and create a model which shows the different visibility levels of fog.
