ATM 라우터와 ATM 스위치로 구성되는 ATM-LAN에서의 ABR 서비스 제공을 위한 각 구성 시스템에서 의 구현 방안을 제안한다. ATM 라우터에서는 ABR 기능을 갖는 ATM접속 카드를 기존의 ATM 접속 카드대신에 실장하여 ATM 망의 종단 시스템으로 동작되게 하고, ATM 스위치에서는 ABR 서비스의 제공을 위해 스위치에서 가져야 하는 가장 기본적인 기능인 EFCI 기능의 구현 구조를 제시하였다. 또한 기능을 구현한 후에 실제 동작 여부를 확인하기 위한 단계별 시험 방안도 제시하였다.

영문내용
(English Abstract) |
We propose a structure for implementation to provide ABR service in ATM-LAN consisting of ATM routers and ATM switches. ATM routers are constructed by installing ATM interface block with ABR capability for this purpose. The structure for EFCI, the basic function in ATM switches to support ABR service, is also proposed. Finally the testing procedure after implementation is provided to verify the conformity of the implemented systems.
