센서 네트워크에서의 데이터 처리의 필요성이 최근 들어 매우 커지고 있으며 데이터 처리의 효율성 및 전력의 소모에 초점을 둔 기법의 연구가 매우 중요하다. 센서의 소형장치 제약성 및 배터리 전원으로 인한 네트워크의 에너지 효율성을 크게 고려해야 하므로 데이터 처리에 있어서 네트워크상에 효율적으로 질의를 주고받는 구조로 설계되어야 한다. 이때, 사용자가 알고자 하는 값이 평균값이나 최대값과 같은 집계값이 대부분이기 때문에 집계 연산이 중요한 서비스로 제공될 필요성이 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존 SQL문에 DURING절을 제안하여 특정한 긴 시간동안의 집계값을 구할 수 있게 하며 데이터웨어하우징 기술인 실체화 뷰와 점진적 뷰 관리 기법을 적용한 질의 처리로 센서의 메모리 제약성을 극복하고 에너지 효율적으로 질의 처리를 하도록 구현하였다. |

(English Abstract) |
The need for data processing in sensor networks has grown enormously and research on techniques that focus on efficient processing of the data as well as consumption of power have become very important. Due to the limitation of the small size of the equipment and the battery power, the energy efficiency has to be carefully considered and the architecture should be designed to efficiently transmit queries over the network. Mostly the users request aggregate values such as average values or maximum values, making the service to provide aggregate operations very important. This work proposes to add the DURING clause into SQL to calculate values during a specific long period and suggests a way to implement the aggregation service in sensor networks by applying materialized view and incremental view maintenance techniques that is used in data warehouses. Applying incremental view maintenance techniques can reduce the memory consumption and support fast computation of aggregate values. |
